Interstate, 3 hours from home, alternator quits. A tow, night in motel, we were looking for help on a Sunday morning. We found The Mobile Mechanic online & decide to call. We were given a price for the entire job before they dispatched a mechanic. We were 20 miles from Normal, in just over an hour, a mechanic was there. Matt apologized for having taken an hour to get there, explaining that he had to go 20 miles in the opposite direction to get the alternator. Matt, did an evaluation to make sure it was the alternator & went to work. The estimated time to change it is 3-5 hours. I think it was closer to 7 hours, but during that time, Matt was rained on multiple times. The temperature was almost 90 & he was on concrete in a hotel parking lot. I have no idea what the real feel was, but the humidity was thick enough to cut. Once he had the old alt off & his tools out, the tire, bumper, & everything else off...IL showed it's true colors...a downpour, crazy winds and I thing a little hail. It flooded everything! Him, his tools, bolts, clips, and screws, jump pack, battery powered drills...not one time did he complain. I am running out of space, but Matt went above & beyond...

Well, for one you charged me $100 diagnosis fee with that diagnosis, you would think you all would look up the VIN number and check to see if it had recalls one thing that any mechanic shop or mechanic service would do Mind you there was one code that came up when you all did the diagnosis and you all said it was the starter. I had a feeling it was a starter as well, but you still insisted on charging me $100 to diagnose it. Just to make sure then after they started working on my car, they changed the starter which by the way it took six hours nowhere in the world. Should it take six hours to put a starter in unless the mechanic is inexperienced which is understandable then After putting in the starter, my car still did not start then they changed a sensor and then something else and then it was another sensor by that time I no longer had any more money to put into this car So yes, I paid all that money just to still be stranded and have to take a bus home. Do you understand how ridiculous that is and then mind you you also lied to me you said oh I was in meetings all morning The morning my car was supposed to be worked on and no one was answering me. When really your mechanic told
